WhiskyRoad was born somewhere along the back roads of Kentucky. While traveling through the state, I crossed paths with a man wearing a hat that caught my eye. I asked him where he found it, and his answer stayed with me — he had made it himself.

That moment became the inspiration for WhiskyRoad. Crafted from memory and imagination, this hat is my interpretation of the one I encountered on that journey. I’d like to think the man who inspired it would recognize a piece of his own creation in mine.

Handmade from 100% beaver fur felt, WhiskyRoad is custom shaped, hand dyed, and sewn by a single maker. The hat features a hand-cut leather hat band, hand-shaped cast silver hardware, and a handcrafted silver cowboy antenna toothpick detail. Finished with a 2” leather sweatband branded with a burnt logo and custom distressing that gives each mark a story of its own.

A hat inspired by a stranger, a road traveled, and the quiet spirit of the American West.
