THE PEACEMAKER

The Peacemaker is where Renaissance artistry meets Western legend. Inspired by the wide-brimmed hats immortalized in Renaissance paintings—silhouettes that remarkably echo what we now know as the cowboy hat—and the iconic Colt Single Action Army revolver known as “The Peacemaker,” this hat pays homage to two enduring symbols of craftsmanship and character.

Carried by legendary lawmen and outlaws alike, including Wyatt Earp, Pat Garrett, and Billy the Kid, the Peacemaker revolver became synonymous with the spirit of the American frontier and was forever etched into history during moments such as the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral. Like its namesake, this hat embodies independence, adventure, and the timeless allure of the West.

Handcrafted from 100% beaver fur felt, The Peacemaker features a hand-cut leather hatband with hand-shaped cast silver hardware, a cast silver cowboy antenna toothpick, and a 2-inch leather sweatband. Every hat is individually hand-shaped, sewn, and finished by me. I use fire, patina, and traditional distressing techniques to give each piece its own character and sense of history.

No two hats are exactly alike. Each one is made slowly, by hand, from start to finish.
